What type of magic will James perform at the wedding?

The most popular type of magic for James to perform at wedding is close-up magic. This type of magic is normally performed for small groups of people who are either sitting or standing. This makes it the ideal type of magic for a wedding. Because the magic is performed at such close quarters it captivates an audience and leaves them with a feeling of bewilderment as the magic often happens in their own hands!

James’ close-up magic will often be done with a deck of cards. He can perform new, modern tricks and some old favourites that you may have seen before.

What is the best time of day for James to perform at my wedding?

James recommends the following times for the magic to happen, but please feel free to contact him directly to discuss your options and best times to suit you.

•  Close-up magic to be performed during reception drinks, to keep the guests entertained. This normally helps while the bride and groom are having their photographs taken. This can sometimes take some time, so can be a good ice-breaker and entertainment for the guests while they wait.

•  During the wedding breakfast, close-up table magic is performed at each guest’s table, until the start of speeches/coffee.

•  Close-up magic to be performed after the speeches/coffee, or later on in the evening reception (however to really enjoy James’ magic this is best done before the music gets too loud!).

 Performance times are normally 2 to 3 hours. This ensures all your guests are entertained.
